A few words to define the project: « The countryside a stone’s throw from Paris »
The renovation project at 23 Rue de Mayenne involved the restoration of two buildings with 15 apartments and two houses.
Work began in May 2014 and finished 12 months later.
We altered the layout of the hallways on every floor so as to maximise the space available in each apartment to make them more comfortable.
We used green spaces to give as many apartments as possible gardens and private terraces.
We created a car park and the central pathway separating the three buildings was paved and is now bordered by flowers and shrubs, giving the place a rural feel despite being a stone’s throw from the Marne.
The same level of care was taken with the renovation of the apartments – all of the walls are now insulated, the kitchens and bathrooms are fully-equipped, the door frames have been replaced, hardwood flooring has been laid and the bathrooms have been tiled right up to the ceilings.
One of the key aspects of this project was the renovation of a 100m² street-level house. We took particular care with this renovation to ensure that it was of an optimum standard. Large bay window, converted basement, electric rolling shutters, latest-generation aluminium windows, central mechanical ventilation system, hardwood flooring, new floorboards – all of these make this a new house.
After 3 months on the market, the buyers were able to take possession of their new homes.
