A touch of history.
Dating back to the 18th century, ‘Le Bretagne’ is a classic Parisian Marais building and is one our most fascinating projects.
Built by an ancestor of one of our agents, the property has had just two owners in 300 years. The key aspect of our plan was to restore the building while still preserving as many of its original elements as possible. We therefore made every effort to ensure that the work was carried out in line with our artisans’ recommendations.

Spanning 4 floors, part of the building has been renovated and furnished with the aim of respecting every tiny detail and taking as much care as you would with your most precious possessions.

The furnishings were designed and produced to measure by our Tailor Made service so that they could be flawlessly integrated into the living spaces. Only the finest materials were used – hardwood flooring on ledger strips, bespoke interior doors and ironwork, leather and brass door handles, wooden furnishings made by our cabinetmakers, Italian tiles, French marble and a bespoke kitchen designed according to our plans.

Each apartment is unique and becomes a character in itself. They all look out onto the courtyard or the street, are on the 1st or top floor and every moment spent in any of them will be enchanting.

Feel the magic of the old world as you journey into the past with every step. The tables in every hallway are classically Parisian, every floor giving you a different view over the rooftops of Paris before you are hit with the irresistible urge to go to the top floor to take in that unique view that only Paris can offer.
